I'm currently working on Medical Writers (3) Total # of Positions – 3 (Hiring manager seeking 2 candidates to work 40 hours per week and 1 candidate with flexibility to work 20 hours), Ridgefield, CT, 3 Months. Please let me know if you are interested in applying for the same ; 


Medical Writers will assist Therapeutic Managers in providing medical information to healthcare professionals and patients in the areas of cardiology, central nervous system, diabetes, immunology, oncology, respiratory, and virology.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Creating and updating scientific resources (e.g. FAQs and Standard Response Documents) to ensure complete, accurate, balanced and referenced materials to respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients.

Performing ad hoc literature searches.

Contributing to the ad hoc development of customized responses to respond to specific HCP inquiries.

Contributing to the development and maintenance of managed care formulary dossiers.

Creating and updating slide decks while tailoring the content to the needs of diverse audiences (e.g. Call Center personnel, field-based representatives, etc.).

Performing peer review and fact check for BIPI Therapeutic Managers.

Support the completion of miscellaneous team tasks/deliverables.


Strong proficiency in providing accurate scientific/medical writing for a variety of scientific resources (e.g. FAQ, standard response documents, AMCP formulary dossier, slide decks) with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to understand and summarize clinical data.

Proficiency in navigating internal documents such as clinical trial protocols and clinical trial reports.

Ability to perform MEDLINE and EMBASE literature searches.

Strong intrapersonal, active listening, and problem-solving skills with an ability to work well in a team environment.

Highly motivated and shows initiative in contributing to team deliverables.

Receptive to receiving and quickly implementing constructive feedback.

Ability to work independently within provided guidance from team leads.

Adaptable and able to contribute to multiple Therapeutic Areas as needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven experience working in a dynamic, high volume environment handling multiple tasks.

Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


Healthcare Related Degree (e.g. PharmD/RPh, NP, PA, PhD, or MD) from an accredited school or college earned prior to the start date.

1-2 year medical writing experience (pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred but not required)Experience in cardiology, metabolism, or respiratory is strongly preferred. Immunology and oncology experience is desired but not required.
