DroneBase is the largest drone operations company in the world and provides fast, affordable, and reliable data from the air so customers can make better, real-time decisions about their most critical assets. Access to aerial imagery and data will become an indispensable source of vital business information not previously available, and DroneBase is quickly becoming the leading way companies acquire it. With a network of over 50,000 drone pilots globally, we’re able to service clients in every industry for their aerial data needs.

Launched in 2014, DroneBase has one of the most seasoned teams in the Los Angeles tech ecosystem, and we are actively working to open the next frontier of information. We were incubated by Y Combinator and are backed by Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Hearst Ventures, Pritzker Group, Accel Partners, SV Angel, DJI (the world leader in drones), and FLIR Systems (the world leader in thermal imaging hardware). We were named one of Built In LA’s Top Startups to Watch and one of CrunchBase’s Top Drone Companies to Watch.

We’re building the category-defining drone company and are looking for an exemplary QA Analyst to assess software quality through manual testing. In this exciting opportunity, you will need a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, as well as be competent in executing test cases. If you are passionate about quality, we’d especially like to meet you. You must have a proven track record of success and excel in a fast-growing, technology-based startup culture while working autonomously. This full-time position is based in our Santa Monica office, located conveniently near the Bergamot Train Station and other public transit. We offer a competitive salary with potential bonus based on experience and performance, and a generous equity stake for the right candidate. We provide a comprehensive medical, vision, & dental plan, unlimited paid time off, and a great team environment with room for advancement.

  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, multi-tasker, effective communicator, and motivator that brings out the best in people.
