I got a call last week from a professional client about an urgent situation. In a panicky voice, he explained that his girl friend just received phone calls from various law enforcement agencies advising her that an arrest warrant had been issued against her because she owed IRS back taxes. In fact, as we spoke, she was getting money from the bank to pay her debt to avoid jail time.
New Scam Targeting Legal Immigrants
Hazleton, Luzerne County- The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office announced scammers are targeting legal immigrants. They're telling victims there is a problem with their paperwork, and the only way to fix it is by sending a money order.

If somebody is charged by unknown or by a credit union name. Please do not call on to the number that's there on transaction. Call the credit union or merchant using the number on their website.
