We require

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or Similar Field
  • Basic Working Knowledge of C, C++ (Preferred)
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • *Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (a definite plus, but not required)
Job Description:
Database design experience and possess a full working knowledge of database components: storage/table spaces, schemas, indices, partitions, aliases, constraints and triggers
Development experience and be proficient with coding in SQL, PL/SQL and pgSQL to support database development.
Experience in Data handling & Streaming with Elastic Search, Kafka, Hive Experience in data visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, Tableau and associated architectures.
Additional desirable experience includes: RDBMS-based RLS and Access Control, AWS, Python, Kafka Exposure to Hadoop Ecosystem like Hadoop Map Reduce, HDFS, Hive, HBase, Zookeeper, Spark, Sqoop, Oozie
Must have Kafka, Scala, Hive, Cassandra
Must have experience working on production data
Proficiency working with Hadoop platform including Kafka, Spark/Scala, SparkSQL, HBase, Impala, Hive, HDFS in multi-tenant environments
A solid base in data technologies like warehousing, ETL, MDM, DQ, BI and analytical tools extensive experience in metadata management and data quality processes and tools
Experience in full lifecycle architecture guidance
Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
