Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the QE testing strategy for Data ingestion and analytics projects

- Develop, document test strategy for comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

- Conduct automated data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.

- Conduct automated testing for data ingestion to ensure functionality is developed as expected.

- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and develop test cases for all scenarios.

- Develop and maintain testing plans with collaborating with projects managers from different teams

- Develop and maintain a scalable automation testing framework

- Perform regression testing and performance testing on ingestion frameworks, data and Tableau dashboards to ensure functionality and usability.

- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools; communicate results to stakeholders.

- Mentor and guide junior QE team members, promoting best practices in testing methodologies.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA and data analytics.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in hands-on QE automation testing, with a focus on data validation and business intelligence tools.

- Proficiency in testing Tableau dashboards and familiarity with data visualization best practices.

- Strong understanding of SQL, and data analysis to validate data integrity.

- Hands on experience with Test Automation frameworks and tools

- Knowledge of SQL Server, python and Snowflake is a plus.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
