Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team.
* Oversee design, development, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Create and manage project charters, work plans, and tracking documents.
* Develop and deliver presentations for leadership and oversight committees (e.g., QAT).
* Document risks, issues, and contingency plans, resolving project barriers.
* Provide weekly status updates and lead project team status meetings.
* Ensure SDLC artifacts meet project specifications and standards.
* Monitor and report progress to the Project Steering Committee.
* Maintain strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
* 10+ years of project management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations.
* 8+ years of project management experience for federal/state government agencies, including Texas.
* 8+ years of experience leading legacy modernization projects.
Skills:
* Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in project management methodologies (PMBOK) and SDLC processes.
* Ability to manage technical and business teams collaboratively.
Certifications:
* PMP Certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience with Texas Project Delivery Framework.
* 3+ years of experience with Texas Statewide systems.
* 1+ year of experience with low-code/no-code solutions.
* Knowledge of Texas QAT processes for major Information Resources Projects (MIRP).
The selected candidate will:
* Work remotely with occasional meetings at the specified location.
* Be expected to handle multiple deadlines and work extended hours when necessary.
* Possess the ability to adapt to dynamic project environments and retain knowledge quickly.
