This includes massive biomanufacturing facilities and contract manufacturing organizations — including Fujifilm Diosynth’s recent announcement of a $2 billion facility in nearby Holly Springs in Wake County — key elements in biotech’s recent evolution toward high-tech cell-and-gene therapy.
