In a tragic incident that happened far away from the homes of two students, who hailed from the Telugu States, they were shot by robbers in Chicago South in the early hours of Monday (according to IST).

The youths were left in a critical stage and were took to a hospital for treatment.

The students, 22 and 23 , were approached by two men who demanded money atgunpoint. According to CST, the incident happened at 6:55 pm on Sunday.

One of the student was identified as Sai Charan, who belonged to Telangana.
